The Saxon network Quantum Saxony / SAX-QT organises a lecture followed by a discussion session on the topic of quantum technology every four weeks. The Centre of Excellence will be represented in 2026 with two lectures on 4 June 2026 (Dr Steffen Kurth, Fraunhofer ENAS) and on 8 October 2026 (Dr Mandy Grobosch, Fraunhofer IIS-EAS).

At the 17th Fraunhofer Symposium, we will once again be bringing together experts from industry and academia with our collaborative partners from Japan and Germany. We cordially invite you to the Fraunhofer Symposium "Towards Germany - Japan Semiconductor & Microsystems Innovation" on December 7/8, 2026, in Tokyo, Japan.

Over two days, we will discuss with representatives from industry and academia how technological systems can support the One Health approach. During the Chemnitz Seminar, current and innovative research and development efforts in these systems, such as wearables, biosensors, diagnostics, organ-on-a-chip / micro physiological systems, and (micro-)fabrication, will be presented.
